He is the author and co-author of six bestselling books, including Upstream, Switch, Made to Stick, and The Power of Moments. His books have sold over four million copies worldwide and been translated into 35 languages.
Heath is a Senior Fellow at Duke University’s CASE center, which supports social entrepreneurs, and an entrepreneur himself, having co-founded Thinkwell, an innovative education company. He is also the host of an award-winning podcast called What It’s like to Be, where each week he interviews someone from a different profession. Prior to this, Heath worked as a researcher and case writer for Harvard Business School.
As a keynote speaker, Heath has spoken to teachers, police chiefs, U.S. senators, interior designers, Navy admirals, health care leaders, marketers, ministers, and countless executive teams, across 26 countries on six continents. In 2013, he was named to the Thinkers 50, a ranking of the world’s 50 most influential management thinkers, and to Fast Company’s list of the “Most Creative People in Business.”
Heath has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Texas. He will be releasing his seventh book, Reset: How to Change What’s Not Working in January 2025.
