Paula Sage

Chief Operating Officer

Paula Sage, Chief Operating Officer, came to Speakers Spotlight from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (formerly Certified Management Accountants of Ontario), where she spent 20 years in various roles. For her last ten years there, she was Director of Professional Development. Today, Paula is excited to be a part of the Speakers Spotlight team, where she shares her industry knowledge, business operations expertise, and even the perspective of being a former Speakers Spotlight client.

Paula’s experience managing operations includes training and development; conferences and events; business development; networking; career support services; facilities management; and overseeing a team of over 20 employees. She also has a wealth of experience in strategy development, customer service and relationships, and she boasts an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit.

Her passion for the events industry began while she was doing her undergrad at Trent University and when she worked in the university’s conference centre during the summers. After university, Paula attended Centennial College, where she obtained a Diploma in Conference and Event Planning. She is now working to complete her Masters in Business Administration through the Edinburgh Business School.

She is an avid golfer and spends any spare time at her family cottage in Muskoka.
