With the advent of the Internet, anyone can find hundreds,
if not thousands of speakers on any given topic. The
question is:
1. How do you know if they are any good? and perhaps
more importantly
2. How do you know if they are right for your audience
/ meeting?
Each year we are approached by over 500 speakers seeking
representation, of which we agree to represent less
than 1%! Needless to say, we have a very stringent screening
process, and this "due diligence" ensures
that the speakers we represent are outstanding in every
sense of the word.
However–we have yet to see a speaker who is right
for every audience. We have worked with thousands of
clients from virtually every industry, profession and
field, in both the private and public sectors. We have
also worked with and seen hundreds of speakers from
across North America, and abroad. Our deeper efficiency
is our ability to listen to your needs and objectives,
and match those with the perfect speaker for your event.
We look forward to hearing from you, and working together
to ensure that your events are unforgettable experiences
for everyone involved.

Based on our discussions with you, we recommend the
speaker(s) who would best achieve your objectives, make your event outstanding,
and of course, fit within your budget.
We provide the collateral material (video previews, testimonial letters,
client references, etc.) to help you in your decision-making process.
We invite you to attend live events to give you the opportunity to meet with
and experience speakers "in person" and "in action".
We answer your questions, offer ideas, and provide whatever assistance is necessary
in the decision-making process.
Once a speaker is confirmed, we work closely with you to ensure that the planning
process is a smooth one, and we also provide a comprehensive synopsis of logistical
details in advance.

NEED TO BOOK A SPEAKER?
Some helpful hints...
- What type of speaker do you need? (Celebrity Vs. Professional, Canadian
Vs. American)
- What characteristics must the speaker possess? Do you want someone
who is motivational, informative, humourous, entertaining,
etc.
- What type of presentation do you need? (Keynote, workshop, training,
etc.)
- What topic? Be as specific as possible. Does your conference or meeting
have a particular theme?
- What is your budget?
- Try to identify two or three speakers that interest you. Or have
the agency recommend those speakers that fit your
objectives.
- Are the recommended speakers available on the date required?
- Ask to see the speakers' information kit. This kit should include
testimonial letters from various clients. Ask if the
speaker has a promotional video/audio cassette available.
- Ask about the speakers' experience. Has he/she spoken to a similar
group before? Can references be provided?
- Ask if there are additional travel expenses.
- Is there a contract to be signed? A retainer to be paid?
- Speak to the speaker directly. Tell him or her what you need, and
ask how they will customize their presentation for
your group. Be certain that the speaker feels comfortable
with the time frame available.
- Ask your agent his/her opinion. Ask for help...
that's why we're here!
